Autobahn Country Club, Joliet
In what may become known as the Racing Capital of the Midwest, the Autobahn Country Club represents a radical departure from the traditional country club concept.
Based around the philosophy of satisfying each members’ driving desires, the private club for car enthusiasts—unlike anything else in the Chicago region—will include a 3.5-mile landscaped race course with multiple tracks. Also planned are a vast clubhouse designed for social and business functions (scheduled to open sometime in 2008), and various other amenities.
