Another very successful joint-venture project completed in the 2006 construction season was the milling and resurfacing of more than 25 miles of outside shoulders of Interstate 55 where it passes through the Romeoville area. Gallagher partnered with Joliet-based D Construction to complete this project on budget and ahead of schedule.
Again, in consideration of the general public and so as to minimize disruption to the heavy volumes of traffic that traverse this arterial feeder daily, all construction/reconstruction/paving services work was done between the night time hours of 9:00pm to 5:00am.
