This demanding night-work-only project consisted of pavement removal, pavement patching, resurfacing with polymerized asphaltic binder (SMA) and surface courses, thermoplastic and epoxy pavement markings, and removal and replacement of raised pavement reflectors. Nearly 60,000 tons of hot mix asphalt (half of which was SMA) was placed on over 18 lane miles of driving lanes and over 12 miles of shoulders.
