This project was led by Cook County in the picturesque community of Orland Park, Illinois. Gallagher Asphalt was one of the first contractors to perform a “cold recycled in place” project. This consisted of 27,400 square yards of cold recycling with a widening and asphalt courses of binder and surface. Other work included 28,230 square yards of grinding and 12,589 tons of asphalt.
